Intellectual Property & Licensing

At ForgeSky, we believe in clear and transparent terms regarding the ownership and licensing of the digital solutions we build. This page explains how project deliverables, source code, and intellectual property are handled when working with our team.

Your Project Deliverables

For every project, clients receive full rights to the final deliverables developed specifically for their business. This includes custom designs, user interfaces, application features, and the components required to operate the delivered solution.

Our goal is to ensure each client receives a tailored digital product that supports their business operations and long-term growth.

The exact scope of deliverables, usage rights, and licensing terms are clearly defined in the project's Statement of Work (SOW) and Master Services Agreement (MSA).

Agency Background Intellectual Property

To build high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions efficiently, ForgeSky may utilize internal development tools, reusable code libraries, frameworks, and development methodologies (collectively referred to as "Background IP").

These internal components remain the intellectual property of ForgeSky and are used across multiple projects to maintain development quality, performance, and reliability.

Source Code Access & Licensing

Clients receive the necessary deliverables required to operate and maintain their solution as defined within the project agreement. Depending on the nature of the engagement, access to the project repository or deployment environment may be provided as part of the delivery process.

The exact scope of repository access, deployment rights, and development assets will be defined in the Statement of Work (SOW) agreed upon prior to project initiation.

Projects are typically managed using version-controlled repositories to ensure transparency, maintainability, and long-term scalability throughout the development lifecycle.

Full Intellectual Property Transfer

Some organizations may require complete ownership of all project intellectual property, including full source code transfer. ForgeSky can accommodate such requests upon discussion during the project planning phase.

Full intellectual property assignment or source code transfer may involve additional legal terms, licensing considerations, or transfer fees depending on the scope of the request.

Once a complete IP transfer is executed, the client assumes responsibility for the management, maintenance, and protection of the transferred assets.

Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)

We respect the confidentiality of every project. ForgeSky is always willing to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements before discussing sensitive ideas, product concepts, or business strategies with potential clients.

For detailed information regarding intellectual property, licensing terms, or contractual obligations, please consult the agreements associated with your project or contact us.
